Post: Project Coordinator 

Status: Consultant

Qualification: MSW/Post Graduate

Experience: 1-2 working experience in the same field

Job description:

  • Community interactions, building linkages with the community, operational zing the project
  • Track policy measures and schemes at the state level
  • Participate in state meetings organized by CSO, departments working on social development issues to mainstream community concerns - prepare updates / e letters for the community
  • Budgets, financial reporting on the project
  • Maintaining the reporting, monitoring and evaluation
  • Tracking outcomes, outputs - beneficiaries
  • To undertake documentation of initiatives of the programme partners and customize the same for media consumption.
  • To prepare press release, fact sheets, data/news alerts and other documents and materials for the media or project partners as and when required.
  • To undertake the translation of the material to English from Hindi and vice versa.
  • Undertake travel to different parts in the State and also to visit Bhubaneswar and Bangalore periodically on project related work.
  • Undertake visits to different forum representing the Centre.
  • Report regularly on the status of the assigned initiatives to the Programme Head or the designated team member.

Post: Project Associate   (1 positions)

Status: Consultant

State: Delhi (North-East, South-East)

Initial Trial/Probation Period: 3 (Three) months

Qualification:  BSW/ Post Graduate with good writing skills in English and Hindi

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Remuneration: Between the range of Rs.16,000/- to 18,000/- pm (subject to TDS deduction)

Project: Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WSH)

Joining: Immediate

Job description:

  1. Regular visits in field areas and coordination with field outreach team.
  2. Organize and facilitate field team to conduct meetings with community and stakeholders on community concerns.
  3. Facilitating training/awareness session/ workshop including menstrual health. 
  4. Collecting and compiling daily report from field team and sharing same to immediate or line manager.
  5. Any other jobs/responsibility that are assigned by the Project Coordinator/Senior Programme Manager/State team time to time.

 

NOTE: Preference would be given to a person with experience in urban development, WSH, Health and Gender with having good computer skills in MS Office & Internet and willing to travel to anywhere in Delhi. Project: Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WSH)

Job description:

  1. To assist the State Project Coordinator/Program Manager in carrying out all activities related to timely implementation of the urban poor initiative in Delhi.
  2. To assist in setting up appointments with NGO’s, officials in pursuance to the terms of the initiative.
  3. To assist the Project Coordinator/Program Manager to carry out Focals Group Discussions, Feed Back Surveys.
  4. Mobilizing, organizing, collectivizing and other outreach activities as per the requirement of the Project in the field, including Basti meetings, Slum meetings, and Public meetings.
  5. Will be responsible for all field level activities and submit separate reports to Centre on her surveys/meetings/interactions along with the signatory list.
  6. Undertake travel to different parts in the State and also to visit Kolkata & Jaipur periodically on project related work, as and when required Project Coordinator/Senior Programme Manager/State team time to time.

Work conditions

Travel:  Expected to travel to different slums / basties for mobilization work. S/He is expected to participate in to meetings / trainings /workshops and conferences as and when required.

Working hours: The normal hours of work are 9:30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, excluding 2nd and 4th Saturdays and public holidays, but depending on the availability of women/children in the basties may have to go for meeting them before and after office hours or on holidays also.
