Facilitating media's support
CFAR has been providing media and communication support to UN agencies, government
ministries and other networks and organizations for national and international events
that relate to social and development issues like gender, children, marginal populations,
HIV/AIDS and the urban poor.

In the run up to the event we prepare the media advisory, backgrounders and the
press release. Place commissioned articles on the issue in the media, facilitate
interviews with journalists and ensure pre and post event coverage.
If required
we conduct field studies, document case studies, identify sites
for media visits and prepare grassroot voices to interact with the media. We
have also been facilitating discussions for news channels by bringing together people
from diverse fields. Read More
